This Horizon

In early 2009, merbers from the indie-band scratchy & mono and members from the skatepunk-band Evermade merged together to form a new constellation of hungry musicians, Yoshi Did It. The new band was a five-piece-act that dug right into it from the start. In may 2009 the five young guns hit the road for the first time, played some venues in Germany and across Sweden and received great feedback. Then, Robert Lindqwist (drummer) broke his collar bone in a freak accident and had to undergo surgery twice, this was a major setback and the band had to cancel all plans that were set up for 2009. The days of Yoshi Did It was over... The band managed to record an EP (Thoughts in colour) between the surgerys though, and one of the tracks from that EP made it onto the “Panic & Action” collectional record: “Burn all the small towns vol.2” which was released in march 2010. In January 2010, the band turned on a pivot and felt a sudden spark that ignited something much bigger. THIS HORIZON, same guys - different name - different music. New songs were put on the dashboard and now the band really found their sound. Alternative hardcore/emo with influences from bands like Emarosa and Paramore. 2010 will be the year for THIS HORIZON, big plans in the making, these five hard-working musicians are aiming high. So: New name, new music and new things to achieve for the guys in THIS HORIZON! Read more on Last.fm.
