The Nailbiters

Based in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, Nailbiters is a working project formed in summer '05 around the songs of singer/songwriter David Tucker. Originally from Chicago, David played around the NYC open mike scene starting in 2005. After recording a demo,"Backlit" at Little Pioneer Cider House, he brought aboard drummer Drew Stoga and jazz keyboardist James Clark to record the album "No Forwarding Address." Nailbiters have played around New York City, including the Mercury Lounge, the Knitting Factory and other NYC clubs. After a brief hiatus at the end of 2007, Nailbiters returned to the stage at Pete's Candy Store on January 29, 2008 with singer Francine Daveta.
