The Infants

There are multiple artists with this name. 1) An Australian four piece band from Melbourne. 2) A Slovak indie rock band with an alternative and psychedelic sound. 1) Somewhere between drag races and Sunday drives The Infants spew visceral vignettes and romantic recreations. Blaise Adamson (vocals/keys) skips from yelps to whispers telling affecting flashbulb memories. While instrumentally the rest of The Infants, Chris and Anthony Morse (bass/guitar) and Jack Normoyle (drums), bend luxurious and persuasive into harrowing and heady. This is house of mirrors music. https://soundcloud.com/the-infants 2) Yossarian was an amateurish, self-educated guitar player and independent composer, who had few own songs. Francis – not so amateurish singer - liked them. So they decided to create a band. Francis’s classmates Emma and Sara were learning how to play drums. They heard the songs and they liked them too. Sara became our drummer and Emma became a vocalist, a manager and she bought a tambourine as well. They found the band of their dreams. As the time passed by they found a name which identifies the band. The first rehearsal was on 17 February 2007. Since that day they have been rehearsing every week. They have composed eight songs so far and fortunately, they play just these ones, so they can fully focus on the practicing of their creation. They record in a non-professional ‘roomie’ studio. The history of The Infants is being written now. http://www.myspace.com/theinfantsmusic Read more on Last.fm.
