The Human Voice

The Human Voice was created in 2007 by Norwegian musician Hærleif Langås. The Human voice shows how subtle is the boundary between ambient music and spacious post-rock. Deep drones and sparse melodic guitar lines, "skeletal" structures and subtle noises. A quiet melancholic sound with deep resounding an repeating melodic lines. Debut cd titled "Exit lines" was recorded while he lived in a remote village in the north of Norway, and released on Eibon records in 2008. Facebook page reveals that the Canadian label Cyclic law Records has agreed to release a new album titled 'Silent Heart' in 2015. Samples and statements indicate a more piano based album this time, but retaining a similar approach to melancholia. Unlike his other projects ; Northaunt (nature, soundscape/field recording gray ambient) and Therradaemon (dark ambient) that have releases from time to time this album is both minimal and melodic at the same time, no swooshing soundscapes as in Northaunt but rather a melancholic solitude influenced, existential album concepts and sound.
