There are at least 3 artists called The Dots: 1. A New York punk band formed in 1978 by Jimmi QUIDD (vocals), Rick Grehl (guitar) & Leigh Sioris (bass). The group released one single in 1979 called "I Don't Wanna Dance (with You) b/w Immortals" with drummer Robert Jr Medici of Model Citizens. Other musicians from the New York scene at that time often accompanied the trio on stage. Jimmi QUIDD also financed the first single by Bad Brains ("Pay To Cum b/w Stay Close To Me") in 1980. He died in 1990 of a ruptured aneurysm. 2. We are five lads from germany doing some kind of decadent Rock. We know it's all going downhill, but we're trying to keep style. Decadence always got a hidden hope of a final rise. So we are not Punks. We got good behaviour. We are playing british Garage with some side steps into Country. Band Members * Jack Dot - Lead-Vox * Dr. Valentine - Git, Vox * C. Blitzschutz - Bass, Vox * MKO Swillus - Organ, Vox * Phil Flade - Drums visit us at www.the-dots.de or http://www.myspace.com/herearethedots 3. Hailing from Glasgow, Scotland; After a failed attempt at the illustrious Hungarian Electro Soul movement, the band binned their key-tars, removed their make up, kicked their ridiculous Toilet Duck habit and formed - The Dots. A band some would call indie, some may call rock n roll, The Dots mix a tight modern sound with a Stonesy swagger to create something special.
