The Brothers Ignatius are an eight strong Ska-jazz outfit from London, England. Formed by Brother Neil after finally meeting all the right musicians, their mission is to groove hard and blow free. Inspired by the great musicians and recordings from 60's Jamaica, The Brothers play mostly instrumental ska and rocksteady. They have the cream of London's young jazz scene blowing their collective wads all over the finest, hardest pumping rhythm section in the land. Between them they have performed/recorded with artists such as The Skatalites, Alton Ellis, Prince Buster, Winston Francis, Dave Barker, Dizzee Rascal, Jay Z, Jay Electronica, Mika, Tom Jones, Chicane, The Streets, The Young Punx, Earl Thomas, Roberto Pla, Led Bib, The National Youth Jazz Orchestra and many more.
