The Attic is the duo collaboration of songwriters and producers Michael Feiner and Eric Amarillo. Knowing each other since childhood, it may seem strange that Michael and Eric did not work together until 2003. After working separately on different projects in all kinds of genres, it was the passion for pop music and the fascination of the energy and pulse on dance floors that finally brought them together working as a team, namely Stereopol. The track "Dancin' Tonight" with Stereopol featuring Nevada (licensed to Ministry of Sound U.K) had an irresistible disco vibe, and reached high chart positions both on dance-floor charts and radio charts all over the world 2003. With The Attic, Michael and Eric decided to take a step forward by not only being songwriters and producers, but now also being artists with Michael as the vocalist. The Attic combines strong melodic hooks with the dance floor energy into an exciting musical mix. The Attic's first single "I Just Can't Help It" charted @ number 1 for seven weeks on the Swedish Dance Chart, and was one of the most played tracks on the Swedish Radio winter/spring 2004. The song was also featured as the theme for Swedish national TV4's program Fortet (Fort Boyard) and The Attic also wrote the whole musical score for the program. Second single "Destiny" also charted @ number 1 on the Swedish Dance Chart and @ number 2 on the UK club chart. Eric Prydz ("Call On Me") and Axwell ("Feel The Vibe") both contributed with remixes of "Destiny". The single "In Your Eyes" had heavy rotation on Swedish radio stations, and the single "A Life To Live" features remixes from Punkstar and David Roiseux. Apart from songwriting, producing and remixing as The Attic, Michael and Eric have also toured with another repertoire - their instrumental music show with Michael on saxophone and Eric on flute.
