A group of childhood friends whose favourite activity as young teens in Junior High was rehearsing self-composed music and collaborating their musical instruments to create melodies and tunes reminiscent of their individual lives as part of an expatriate community in the mid-east; there is no doubt they had something to say. Collectively, the young group complete with Michael on vocals, Nomi on guitar, and Basam on drums decided to form a band called Temple of life in the summer of '98. The young band managed to achieve many performances for crowds. It was all fun for the boys and the experiences opened new doors for them. As college students each member went their separate ways spreading out over different parts of the world, the young band was disappearing. After some time, the guys having stuck with their instruments and with the drive from the memories of where they're from and what they need started materialzing which inevitably lead them to reassemble once again in Toronto in early '07. While in Toronto they continued their struggles with school and finances and somehow managed to stumble upon their last piece of the ensemble, Leo on the Bass Guitar. Now, in 2009, working hard each member brought to the table their experiences from when they were apart and carefully and patiently structured a more determined and innovative agenda for the band. With the sustained benefit of collaborative talent from a young age and harmonious theory gathered over the years, Temple of Life is making a new mark carrying a new message for the changing society.
