Originally named “Pull”, Tangent Transmission formed in the late summer of 2009 by both Sam Sobo and Dugan Cruz. How and when they met is not quite clear. Why they met however is painfully obvious. After playing and rehearsing together for a couple months while doing the best they could to continue working and going to school, they booked a show at a local venue titled “The Cobalt Café”. The show was mediocre at best, though they made some friends integral to their growth and it didn’t stop them from doing what they love. Now, with countless shows, a full length EP, and recently added Bassist Conor Cruz, and Guitarist K!rby Shaw, the group is operating at full speed to deliver to any and all audiences shows defined as "electric!" Much of what's been done took getting stuck on freeways, crashing cars and retracking guitars, but the group has taken a firm first step into whatever journey of music awaits them. To close, Dugan states, “As crazy as this all is we’ve had a lot of fun, and we’re just as excited to see where we go as you are…” Read more on Last.fm.
