Sons of Beaches are a 4 piece original rock band from the United Kingdom. The band are currently touring the UK. The bands acheivements to date include: *Playing a sell out show at Liverpool's world famous 'Cavern Club' during their 'Plague' tour of 2009. *Headlining the new acts stage of the Glastonbudget festival in both 2009 & 2010. *In February 2010, the band were the featured artist on the BBC Introducing sessions. *Selling out 'The Shed' in Leicester City in under 20 minutes! The band recorded a demo ep in 2008 entitled 'Never be the same again', which featured 3 tracks: Who I am, Never be the same again, & Let go of me. In 2009 the band released a 2nd EP, the critically acclaimed 'Plague', which featured 6 new tracks: Mine o' mine, Can't rain all the time, A plague on both your houses, Don't worry about me, Sticks n' stones, & fan favourite I.O.U. Sticks n' stones was picked by the BBC and received frequent airplay. Now in 2010, the band are recording their debut album entitled 'In high definition', which is scheduled for release in February 2011. Debut single 'Turn me on' is scheduled for release in September this year, and in December the band are releasing a christmas song called 'Santa i've been good this year'.
