Sara Jovanović (stage name Sara Jo; born October 29, 1993 in Rome, Italy) is a Serbian pop/rnb singer and songwriter. She was one of the 12 finalists in TV PRVA's reality television programme "Prvi Glas Srbije" (The First Voice of Serbia), in which she came in 3rd. Sara was popular before she auditioned for "Prvi Glas Srbije", due to her cover versions of popular songs on her YouTube channel. Her voice, looks and quirky personality are one of the many reasons why she rose to fame in such a short period of time. In 2011 she released her debut single Zauvek (Forever). In 2012 Sara was featured in four songs by serbian rapper MCN from his self-titled debut album. In 2013 Sara represented Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö as a part of Moje 3 with the song Ljubav je Svuda (Love Is Everywhere) and failed to qualify for the grand final, placing 11th in the Semi-Final 1. After Eurovision Song Contest and disbandmet of Moje 3, she continued working on her solo career. In June 2013 Sara and Marko Mandić released a duet song "Ujutru" which became one of the summer hits in Serbia that year. In late 2013, Sara was a participant in a Serbian version of the "Your Face Sounds Familiar". In 2014 Sara released her first solo singles since 2011, Ko je ovde ko and Mahovina, as well as promotional single Provokacija for the film "Mali Budo" Sara is currently a student at Faculty of Philology in Belgrade.
