Salamat Sadikova

Salamat Sadikova is the best known singer from the Central Asian republic of Kyrgyzstan. Her robust voice, capable of holding notes for a seemingly superhuman duration, brings an earthy dignity to old folk songs and contemporary folk-style compositions.
