SLOWOLF is the name of producer, singer & recording artist Andreas Asingh, rising from the cold north of Copenhagen. With his debut single See U In My Dreams, released in DK on May 7th 2012, SLOWOLF have already proven to be a one-to-watch on the Danish music scene. SLOWOLF brings you the epic sound of downtempo dream pop, black metal & hip hop, and his debut single entered the Danish iTunes Electronic Song Chart at #1 – as well as being chosen to the Pick of the Week on Danish National Radio (equivalent of Radio One). On August 20th 2012 SLOWOLF released his debut album Seven which is part of minialbum trilogy bound to be released within the next year. Seven entered the Danish iTunes Electronic Album Chart at #1. and the album includes the track Dance Floor featured by Raekwon (Wu-Tang Clan) and a chorus written by a 7 year old boy. Needless to say there is profound playfulness in SLOWOLF’s approach to music and can be described as the sound of Dream Pop meeting Black Metal meeting Hip Hop. The sound of the Seven album mesmerizes its listener and pulls them into a dreamlike world of falsetto, judgement day-like symphonies, crystal clear distortion guitars and heavy drum beats. SLOWOLF played his debut concert at Roskilde Festival 2012. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
