Ravage! Ravage! is an electronic-pop threesome from The Netherlands. Quotes, quotes, quotes... “A very danceable blend of new and cold-wave” - Subbacultcha! “A mélange of electronic-glam noise and courtesan attitudes that wouldn’t have shamed the court of Charles II. Despite having a blazing attitude that is off kilter with much of what’s around in level-headed Holland at the moment, this is a glossy Gothicke pop band of the highest tradition.” - ELLE Nederland “The band's Glitter Goth cabaret convinced the crowd. Equal amounts Noël Coward and Marc Almond. This was the sort of show that would have gone down a treat at the Colony Club; redolent of red plush and fag smoke and back biting. Ravage! Ravage! boast some fine tunes: they have an orchestral sweep about their music and the rhythm section built up a powerful and impressionistic backdrop that dovetailed nicely with the singer’s quips. A triumph...” - Incendiary Magazine “What are people in the Netherlands really into if not the synth music you play?” - Shannon Funchess (Light Asylum) “You rock!” - Danny (Vive la Fête) “Great music!” - DJ Hell “Klinkt goed!” - Joost van Bellen “Sophisticated like Pet Shop Boys with a storm of Soft Cell's nastiness” - NoddY RioT “Holland's new rave reverends” - TimeOut London “Debauched rave-noir” - Amsterdam Weekly “A Dutch treat” - Ex Berliner mag “Super-electro Dutch ravers” - Trash Menagerie “Grandson of Marc Almond and Pet Shop Boys” - 3voor12's Hollandse Nieuwe “Ravage!
