A "project oscillating between intimate and imaginative with a raw and spontaneous energy". OTTILIE is the collaborative efforts of guitarist and vocalist, Ottilie Bouchareu, alongside contrabassist, Phil Cassel. Also referenced is electronic artist, Miosine, whose contributions are credited as "tinkering and doohickies". Bouchareu is originally from Crévoux, which is a mountain community situated within the Parpaillon mountain range of southeastern France.
