Nikki Ponte (Greek: Νίκη Πόντε, born August 1, 1991 in Toronto) is a Cypriot-Canadian singer became famous through her participation in The X Factor (Greece series 3). One of her biggest dreams was to come to Greece and she made it come true through this talent show. Totally committed to her target Nikki came third and she was a candidate for representing Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. Ponte, a Cypriot-Canadian who was born in Toronto to immigrant parents. Her father is Portuguese and her mother has originates from Cyprus. She has been taking opera lessons for 10 years and now she has been a student at a music university in Canada. Nikki Ponte chose the song "I Don't Wanna Dance", with music and lyrics by Jonas Saeed and Pia Sjöberg. The song is performed in English, and is dance-pop in style.
