My Small Community was formed in the fall of 2006 on the remains of a band called Mind The Gap. The line-up remained the same except for Undos, who filled the vacant position on vocals. Due to increasing conflicts, we finally decided to stop working with our former singer. Amongst the many reasons for the decision, individual priorities and different ideas about the band’s prospects were highly significant. Avoiding other frictions and symbolizing a restart, we changed the name to My Small Community, which reflects our attitude towards music as well. After touring the country with the most influential Hungarian mainstream bands, our point of view has changed considerably. Being aware of where we belong, we don’t want to engage ourselves to any recent trends or ideologies. We are falling far from a pushing attitude: what we would like to express is only the pure enjoyment of music. After making such a heavy decision waking up to the reality was even harder. The band was still without a singer. After some futile months of seeking the new member, a guy from a completely different musical background appeared. His unique voice and experimenting grain left us speechless. The choice was made. Shortly after Undos joined the band all the songs were ready to be performed and our small community was founded. We have released a debut CD in 2007 titled 'A Day Becomes a Lifetime', and in 2010 we released our new Ep. Read more on Last.fm.
