All grown up and 19 years old, kwaito sensation Msawawa, is making headlines again. Msawawa shot to fame at just 10 years old, making the kid the youngest kwaito recording artist in the country. The young musician soon ran into trouble making the news for being involved in fraud, violence and ditching school. However, the Metro FM Music award-winning singer has put his troubled past behind him, moved back to Durbs and his family and boasts a new record, Touch Africa’s First King of Kwaito – expected next month. Taking a break from the music scene for four years has done the talented singer and dancer well and today he offers not only a more mature, wholesome image for kids to look up to but also talent that can be respected and admired.
