What started 21 years ago in the school choir, has now turned out to be a rewarding career. This versatile artist is known for her riveting renditions of R&B, Jazz, Reggae and Calypso. This is no overnight success story; Miss T.C. has earned a prominent spot in the Entertainment arena in Barbados. The Calypso bug bit in 1994 ! Terencia Coward joined a calypso tent making her eligible to compete in the island's "Pic O De Crop competition. Miss T.C. the "Calypsonian" emerged and the rest is history. Miss T.C. made her presence felt with stirring performances of "Woman in Front" and "Under the Privileged" sending the first timer straight to the finals, placing third to the stalwarts. She has been a consistent contender for the monarchy every year. In 1998, Miss T.C. captured the hearts of Barbadians with two delightful social commentaries, "Poverty Fighters" and "Foolish Me". Miss T.C. emerged as the peoples favorite. Admired by her peers for her powerful voice and captivating stage presence, this talented young performer continues to make her mark on the entertainment industry in Barbados. The release of her debut solo album "New Direction" will allow the rest of the world to get a taste of Miss T.C. as she quietly and confidently prepares to one day accept the baton from the masters in the Kaiso artform.
