It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Mihai Stroe is a music veteran at the mere age of 21, having over 15 years of both formal and informal training spanning from Europe to the United States. Starting on violin as his first instrument, then adding keys and guitar to his repertoire, Mihai began experimenting with various bands and solo projects. After a few recording sessions he was instantly attracted to the entire process of delivering full and great-sounding recordings so production was obviously the next step. Since electronic music has been a favorite of his for a very long time he decided to take his production further into this direction. 2010 has marked a new beginning for Mihai as his debut e.p., "Elemental Pillock EP", came to light on L.A.'s own Shush Music. He then continued on with "Progression EP" after which a new single, "Holding You", has been released by Paradise Records and featured on the official "La Troya Ibiza 2010" and "Amnesia Ibiza Dancefloor 2010" compilations. When not working on his own tracks, Mihai works closely with Drugstore Cowboy Productions as a film composer having been credited on IMDB for films such as "Santo Pecado" and "The Last Favor", two action-packed and high-energy short films, with more films due for release. Kickstarting 2011, "Holding You" continues to hold strong while being featured on two more official compilations, "Pacha Ibiza DJ Selection Vol. 2" and "Ibiza 2011", released by DJ Center France. Following up with that are Mihai's latest releases "I See Some Thing EP", out on Bugeyed Recs., and “As Usual EP” released on Glenn Morrison's own Factory One Recs. After a strong start to the year, works soon to follow include many more original records. Steadily making his way up into the very active electronic music scene, Mihai will not cease to deliver quality records and continue pushing boundaries with his fresh and innovative sound so keep an eye and a ear out for him.
