Michaela Dornonville de la Cour is most famous for being a member of Swedish pop group 'Army of Lovers'. Michaela joined Army of Lovers in 1991 after La Camilla quit the group. She joined during the time of AOL's 2nd album 'Massive Luxury Overdose' - she features on the American version of the album (whilst La Camilla still features on the Original Swedish version). Michaela recorded 2 albums with Army of Lovers whilst in the Group 1993's 'The Gods of Earth & Heaven' and 1994's 'Glory, Glamour & Gold'. The band split in 1995. When Army of Lovers reformed in 1996 for a Greatest Hits project either (depending on what you read) Michaela was not asked to be in the group or Michaela decided she did not want to return to the group. Ironically Michaela's replacement in the grop in 1996 was La Camilla! Michaela released one solo single in 2000 'S.O.S' under the shorter name of Michaela De La Cour. When Army of Lovers reformed again in 2001, again Michaela did not take part (La Camilla did) and she was not invited to be part of the group at the 2008 one off appearance at UK night club 'G.A.Y'. (Neither did La Camilla). Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
