After playing Led Zeppelin material with her band Mica and The Other Pages and having done several concerts singing Neil Young songs under the name of Mica and the Gold Rush, she felt that it was time to record an album of her own. She started out with this goal in mind in the beginning of 2007. Together with friends and family, she recorded quite a few tracks in the RoomFive studio in Skellefteå. The material ranged from the Neil Young and Led Zeppelin, Nick Drake, Carole King to Kleerup/Robyn, Nirvana, The Church, The Beatles and Blondie. Read more on Last.fm.
