Mezzamo is a synthpop/rock band formed in Tver, Russia in 2003 by Shura Zhuravleva (vocal), Sergey Dubov (guitar) and Ilya Ivanov (drums and bass). With this line-up, they recorded their first demo-tape titled "Ljudi i Doma". In 2006, Mezzamo is joined by Yurij Solovjev (keys) and Artem Golubev (drums) (who left in 2008), and soon after the band record their first full length album "Mnogotochie". The album received good reactions from all over the world. In winter 2007, Shura Zhuravleva meets a talented synth-pop musician Sergey Semenov (aka Alfred Gendor) and invites him to join the band. As a result of their collaboration, Mezzamo's sound changed from pop-rock to more synthpop and new wave influenced one. The album "Aloneluna", released in 2008, sounds like a mix of influences from Depeche Mode and Erasure to The Cure , Blondie and even Moby . Group was disbanded in November 2012. All their music is available for free.
