Mayola is a band with an ever evolving sound, with influences from the most experimental rock and roll to traditional western and folk it is nothing short of an experience. The honest and sometimes apocalyptic themes of the songs always focus on the "bigger picture" and sum up the story in hooks that are easy to sing along with. Live Mayola has been said to give the feeling of a mad carnival full of energy and passion. You can see that they are moved by the music they are playing and love sharing it with you. Having played many shows in the mid-west, Mayola has made a good name for themselves opening for acts such as Joan of Arc, Split Lip Rayfield, Ludo, The Ataris, The Forecast and many others.
