May Matar

May Matar is a singer, musician, actress, songwriter, and composer. Her first single was "El Kawn Zgheer", written and composed by Elie Zgheib; it earnt her an award from the Belorussian Academy who recognised her as the most promising newcomer of the year. Her second single, "Eh Garali", was her own composition. Shortly after its release in the summer, Matar's third single and video, "Ma fi 7ada", reached number one in the Lebanese charts, and entered Melody's top twenty. It was written by Nizar Francis and Samir Sfeir. For her fourth single Matar collaborated with popular Lebanese songwriter Haitham Zayyad. Read more on Last.fm.
