Marty Christian’s second CD, Underground Blues is part of a movement - bringing the Blues back to its creative roots Lafayette, LA guitarist Marty Christian first started to perform his barebones style of soulful acoustic Blues across Southwest Louisiana and Texas in 2001. Originally from Cleveland, OH, his first collection of original material, Bluesicana was released in 2006. Christian became the guitarist for Blues piano legend, Henry Gray and the Cats in 2008. Now with his second CD, Underground Blues (2009), an acoustic collection of Delta inspired originals, Marty continues to hone his original blend of acoustic Blues improvisations with traditional roots.
