Marthe Valle

Marthe Valle (25) was brought up in the nothern part of Norway where her childhood were filled with music of all different kinds. Although her dad told her it would be wise to get a proper education, she quit her studies at the age of 21 to work with music full time. In 2004 she released the ep "Fous steps Closer" on the norwegian indie-label Grammar records. The ep was followed by great reviews and touring across the country. In may 2005 she started working on her new album "It's a bag of candy" which were recorded in Larsville Studios in Tydalen, and produced by Marthe, Pål Brekkås,and Lars Lien. Marthe had some nice company when making this album; Kenneth Ishak(Beezewax) and the norwegian godfather of rock; Åge Aleksandersen both contributed to the album. "It's a bag of candy" led to a number of gigs an it also recieved the norwegian grammy award for Best Newcommer of the year. Read more on Last.fm.
