Mark of Lubotsky (* in Leningrad) is a Russian Violinist. Lubotsky visited the central school of music in Moscow and later the conservatoire, where he was pupil of Abram Jampolski and David Oistrach. After it had won several international music competitions, among them the citizen of Berlin Jugendfestival, the Mozart competition of Salzburg and the Muscovite Tschaikowskiwettbewerb, he arose with the most important Soviet orchestras. After its emigration to Holland its career in Western Europe and the USA began. It arose also in Japan, Australia and New Zealand, was guest of the festivals of Santa Fe, Norfolk, Taukubi, Cheltenham, Aldeburgh, Bath and Dartington and worked among conductors such as Kyrill Kondraschin, Eugene Ormandy, Mstislaw Rostropowitsch, Jewgeni Swetlanow, Berne pool of broadcasting corporations Haitink, Gennadi Roschdestwenski and Kurt Sanderling. Its interest applies for the contemporary music apart from the classical-romantic repertoire above all. With Alfreds Schnittke connected it a lifelong friendship. After it had ueraufgeführt its first Violinkonzert 1963 in Moscow, Schnittke dedicated to it its second Violinkonzert as well as three its Violinsonaten. with Irina Schnittke and Mstislav Rostropowitsch he played also the premiere of Schnittkes Klaviertrio. Under the line of the composer Lubotsky Benjamin Brittens Violinkonzert on LP brought in; Britten explained: This is the performance I have been waiting for. In recent time he dedicated strengthens Arvo Pärt to the work of the estnischen composer. On two LPs it submitted the first bringing in of works of the nearly forgotten composer Nikolai Roslavets. Lubotskys preferential piano partners are Ljuba Edlina, Boris Berman, Peter Frankl, Ralf Gothoni and Brenno Ambrosini. With Katarina Andreasson and Olga Dowbusch Lubotsky he forms the Lubotsky Trio. Besides Lubotsky is also a successful Violinlehrer: it informed at the Muscovite Gnesininstitut and after its emigration at the Amsterdamer and Hamburg conservatoires and held master courses at the Toho university in Tokyo, the Oakland University in New Zealand, the Guild resounds to School OF Music in London, sank Petersburger conservatoire, the Sibelius academy in Helsinki and in Göteborg.
