Mark Kennis

Mark & Lois Kennis are a married couple from Iowa, and the mother of two sons and two daughters. Mark Kennis was the producer of a public access television program entitled "BIG People News" while Mark's wife–Lois–published a magazine called Iowa Lady Magazine. In November 1998 Mark Kennis ran for Governor of Iowa while his wife ran for Lieutenant Governor. Mark Kennis hoped to make many changes to Iowa. Despite this, they lost. A year before in 1997, Lois attended a Libertarian Party of Iowa meeting which supported the election of Mark Kennis. Also around 1997 Mark Kennis ran for President of the United States and to no surprise, lost. Mark Kennis was also arrested for growing marijuana in his property. In addition to that, the Mark and Lois were heavily supported by druglibrary.net ("the world's largest online library of drug policy") around that time. During his life Mark Kennis was an extremely abusive man to his wife and four children. Though he made efforts to seem a born again Christian using a Jesus bus and his television show, he still continued to frighten those around him and distribute drugs to children. He was a troubled person with a long history of mental illness. Even after his death, his family continues to make a life for themselves and hope to overcome the notoriety associated with the Kennis name. Mark & Lois Kennis are notable to the outsider world for their cover of "Lazy and Crazy" which they instead named "Hawkeye Jamboree". Read more on Last.fm.
