Whether as composer or producer, Marc Canham’s talents have proliferated the genre of video game soundtracks since 2000, accounting for over 130 million sales worldwide. From the 2011 blockbuster ‘Driver: San Francisco’, to his recent film score for the critically acclaimed ‘The Disappearance of Alice Creed’, to the haunting ‘Far Cry 2’ soundtrack, Marc has written music that has challenged expectations delivering filmic landscapes built on an elegant twisting of musical genres. In 2000 Marc formed Nimrod Productions, setting up a production facility in the Oxfordshire countryside. This studio setup is a nerve centre of creativity, with the latest technology sitting alongside vintage analogue music equipment and flashing boxes. In 2002 Marc founded the NSO - a world class session orchestra featuring London’s finest players. Marc has teamed up with some of the most exciting musical talent around today, having his compositions remixed or reinterpreted by the likes of UNKLE, Amon Tobin, and Diplo. He has also worked with Sean Callery on ’24 – The Game’, Philip Glass and Paul Hartnoll on the charity release ‘Chime’, and Baaba Maal for his ‘Far Cry’ soundtrack. To date he has worked on over 100 soundtracks demonstrating the versatility of his unique and creative talent. Read more on Last.fm.
