There are at least two artists named Luci. 1) Luci is a project for long time collaborators Guillaume Coutu Dumont and David Fafard. 2) Luci is a singer/songwriter living in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Drawing on her Peruvian roots, Pop singer/songwriter Luci offers a pop-driven sound that is infused with Latin, R&B and funk. From her childhood years, music was an integral part of Luci’s life. Born in Lima, Peru, Luci lived in the U.S. from a very young age and grew up in various southern states. She draws her unique style from a sea of influences varying from Celia Cruz and Christina Aguilera, to Aerosmith and Stevie Wonder. While at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK, Luci studied Music Tech as a minor and began playing guitar and recording her songs, and had her first co- writing experiences. As she has grown both personally and as a songwriter, Luci feels her music has grown along with her, sharing the character and life experiences gained along the way. “My goal is to present music you can relate to, dance to and create some memorable moments to, and my vision is to inspire strength and hope in others,” Luci said. “I work tirelessly to put on the best performance, which is what I feel my fans deserve. I know this is what I'm made to do and I absolutely intend to make a career out of it." In early 2007, Luci took a season off from pursuing music to focus on her growing family. She recently stepped back into the music scene with a renewed vigor for her work. She currently lives in Nashville, TN. Working with award-winning producer Kene Bell, her debut EP, "Live It Up,” was released in May 2010. Luci continues to write new music and embraces the opportunity to collaborate with other talented songwriters in the Nashville area.
