In the end of the eighties, begin nineties, Baz Reznik developed a different taste in music than most people his age. Because his brother played records in clubs in the north of the Netherlands, Baz got to know the wonderful and diverse world of the TB303 acid machine. From there his interest developed and he expanded his collection with lot's of acid and acid-related vinyl’s from as early as 1980 till the present day. A typical long night set from Baz can begin at the early use of the TB303 in (Italo)disco records and will take you on a journey trough the sounds of the acid-house of Phuture and Traxx and the electro and squat-acid of Bunker and Crème records from his home town The Hague. This yellow line in his music makes him a dj of great variety, playing his records on disco as well as old-school or squat- and techno-parties. Besides playing records and making music, Baz Reznik is involved in the Arctic Boogie foundation to promote electronic music from non-urban communities. In 2008 Baz started to make his own music. One of his first tracks was quickly picked up by the people behind the Noize internet download compilation. This encouraged him to continue. Now in 2009 his first EP is launched on his own DYFR label. After this, the people behind the Syncom Data Label (with releases of Syncom Data, Aux88, IFTODEX, Speedy J and Legowelt to name a few) offered him a contract. Baz his last release was on the Syncom Data label (SD017) in 2010. Past performances include: Sugarfactory, Flexbar, Pakhuis Wilhelmina, Stubnitz, Amsterdam Dance Event (Amsterdam) - Paard van Troje, 2daysArt (The Hague) - Tivoli (Utrecht) - Doornroosje (Nijmegen) - Have a Nice Day Festival (Eibergen) - Atlantis, Argus (Alkmaar) - The Lizard, Cornwall (United Kingdom).
