Lucas Nordqvist was born in Stockholm, Sweden and works as a DJ, producer and composer. He is the grandson of Putte Wickman, jazz clarinetist and began his career in 2011. The single which marked his debut was "Let Us Stay Young (feat. Urban Cone)" released in January 2012. Ahead of their debut album in September 2013, Rasmus Faber released the single "Jakarta" featuring John Carr and Luke Nord. A month later, John Dahlbäck released the single "We Were Gods" featuring Urban Cone and Lucas Nord. Islands was released on October 15, 2013 by Hybris label. And the record of the advance single, "Run on Love (feat. Tove Lo)" was released in June 2013. "Embrace Me Part II (feat. Urban Cone)" has been selected as the second single. In 2014, he released the single "Wasting Time" by the record HK Records UK, a subsidiary of Ministry of Sound with Hed Kandi, specializing in house music, techno and garage.
