Los Santísimos Snorkels

The Santisimos Snorkels are formed in the city of Puebla, Mexico, around December 2002, when Alfonso (drums), Artur (bass), and Chucho (guitar) got together to experiment with their instruments, leaving voices aside, and focusing on the surf scene. It was not too long before the drummer was replaced by Chucho, and the bass player by Charly, creating the first lasting lineup. February 15 was their debut, and since then the band's sound has evolved, creating intense, danceable beats, occasionally incorporating short vocal choruses. Chucho had to leave the band after some time, and Mr. X came to take his place. This was short lived, however, and Coop has now taken the drums, influencing the band's sound intensely. The Santisimos Snorkels released their second album in summer 2007, "Instrumental Surf Blender" . Read more on Last.fm.
