Portrait The band "Los Kusis de Bolivia" was founded in Cochabamba in 1967 by Eufronio Sanchez. It stays based there until heading for La Paz. The band consisting of three members at that time travels through many south-american countries, where it represents its own country at different festivals, radios and tv broadcasters. With records being published, the fame of the band rises in the south-american continent. "Los Kusis" bids farewell to their homeland in september 1974 with the mission to represent the bolivian music and traditions as well as the original culture of the Incas (quechuas and aymarás) in all of Europe and specially in Switzerland. They carry on with concerts, festivals, radio and tv sessions and record new discs. Various concerts in Switzerland and Europe. 1994 CD "Inkallajta" on Pan with the choir "Sängerbund Bümpliz" Publishing of the score to "Inkallajta". 2000 CD "Arco Iris". "Navidad criolla" with Kurt Pahlen at the Stadttheater Langenthal, Casino Bern and Opern House Zürich. 2001 Participacion at the festival "Living Treasures" in South Africa. "Navidad criolla" with Kurt Pahlen at the Opern House Zürich. 2003 Misa Criolla with the choir Vivace under the direction of Christophe Gesseney. "Navidad Criolla" at the Tonhalle Zürich. World premieres of the opus "Misa Pacha Mama" with the choir of the NMS school in Bern and of "Navidad Andina" in Raron, Brig and Domodossola with the Spirit Singers from the Kollegium Brig. 2004 Concerts „Misa Pacha Mama“ in Trubschachen, Brig y Lyss. Tour in Bolivia with the Spirit Singers from the Kollegium Brig. 2005 Concerts "Misa Pacha Mama" in Langenthal and Bern, "Navidad Andina" in Schaffhausen. 2007 World premiere of the requiem "Misterios del Socavon" with the Spirit Singers and the Ensemble Da Capo.
