Lip Colour Revolution were born in the summer of 2003, but only around November 2004 they reached a somehow stable line-up, with Filippo Infante on vocals, Marco Lascialfari and Alice Nikpal on guitars, and the rhythm section formed by Gianni Niccolai on bass and Dario Gentili on drums. They recorded their first LP “Lip Colour Revolution” on February 2006 at the Blocco A Studio in Padova, with Giulio Ragno Favero (One Dimensional Man, Il Teatro Degli Orrori). The album was mixed by Favero himself, on August 2006 at the NaturalHeadQuarter Studio in Ferrara, and finally mastered by Martin Feveyear at the Jupiter Studio in Seattle (R.E.M., Q.O.T.S.A., Mark Lanegan). After another line-up change (Alice and Dario left the band to dedicate themselves to other forms of art), and various drummer replacements, on August 2007 Giacomo Salvadori (of Betularia) gets to beat the drums for them, to complete the band’s lineup. The band’s going to release the long awaited debut album in 2008. In January 2009 Dario Ameno replaced Giacomo on drums. Lip Colour Revolution are working on new songs for the second album and for an acoustic EP.
