Legs

The duo of Jeffrey Harland and Matt Bullimore formed Oakland based noise pop group Legs in 2011. The two had been friends for a long time and had played in bands before deciding to join forces and begin recording. Inspired by the noisy pop found on labels like mid-80's Creation and Flying Nun (Bullimore was born in New Zealand and grew up as a fan of the label), Harland and Bullimore spent a year as a duo recording project only as Matt learned to play drums and they honed their sound. Slowly they began to add members to the band - the first Ameilia Adams on vocals, then Kevin Walker and Spencer Hicks -- as they painstakingly worked on recording an album.
