Leadlight Rose are: Ellah Rose, the vocal virtuoso; Shanan Kilner, the axe man; Jesse Higginson, maestro ..s; progressive fusion drummer Geoff Irish. In October 2007, Leadlight Rose broke into the Brisbane live music scene, playing alongside great Brisbane acts including Never, Arcane and Nina May, before finishing the year playing the Alive In AusFest. Six months of injuries, illness, international holiday disasters, and a change of band members later and they're back, bringing their unique combination of melodic vocals, masterful riffs, and funky rhythm back to the people, now with ambient keys courtesy of their newest band member Jesse. Recently parted ways from their bassist, Jesse, Leadlight Rose have a sexy stand in, the lovely Miss Laura Nauda. Unfortunately, this will most likely not be permanant as the law wants her to go back to the British Isles, so they are currently seeking a bass player who can bring the funk, and has citizenship, or at least a visa!
