Producer and DJ Jonas Verwijnen (a.k.a. LBJ a.k.a Lazy Bones Jones) has been involved in music since childhood. He started his musical career by playing in several Helsinki based alternative bands, and became interested in producing electronic music, from playing backing music to operating a well equipped studio. His solo project LBJ began in 1998 influenced by many dance acts of the time like the Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, the Ganja Crew, and labels like Botchit and TCR. LBJ's first live gig was at the Helsinki Street Party 2000. His gigs since have included venues and clubs such as Illusions morning party, Foundation, Muzik World Tour Helsinki, Resistance, The Missing Link morning party, Helsinki Street Party 2001/2, Saunabar, Jump Inn and resident at Club Motion. In addition his expanded live project has played at all of Finland's major festivals. He has performed alongside artists including Rennie Pilgrem, Stanton Warriors, Meat Katie, Databass, Atomic Hooligan, Jay Cunning, Iain Taylor, DJ Friendly, and many more. Jonas is the first Finnish signing to the influential London based breakbeat label Botchit and Scarper with tracks included on the compilation Botchit Breaks 5 and two twelve-inch singles on the same label (Syvalle Sinne / This One Goes Out To You and Haikea Juoppo). He has also had a release on the new Heavy Disco label where his track Graffiti Techno received many plaudits, and his new Motorhead bootleg with the Young Punx has ripped up floors across the globe.
