L Da Vice was born in Deering NH (Only a years duration) during a snow storm in January 92'. It was impossible for his mom to make it to the hospital. So L was born in the house. L lived a pretty chaotic existence. Nothing ever really seemed to come easily to him. His father quotes "Gypsy lifestyle" because of the constant moving from place to place in Belmar Township New Jersey. L Da Vice's childhood was full of video games/drawing/cartoons/ and anything involved with his nostalgic memories. And for the year of relief he would find between moves...L enjoyed the arts as a pass time. Eventually (at the age of 10 or 11) he took a liking to hip-hop music and music in general. When he was young though...mostly Rap Music. Such as: Eminem/Xzibit/Black Rob. L didn't care about which coast they were coming from. If the artist in any way shared L's views...he was a friend of theirs. L Da Vice have a very particular taste in music. L doesn't like someone just for the sake of imagery. He has individual reasons and nostalgic back thoughts that keep him loyal as a listener to particular artists. L began writing lyrics in 2004 (12 years old) to Independently mixed instrumentals that were found on sites like Soundclick and Youtube. Although L wasn’t convinced he truly had the technique until he sat down and RE-Wrote “Young Black Male” by 2Pac. Naming it “Young Cracka Jack” and writing it in a way that emulated 2Pac's song structure. A lot of people would read that statement and think: “This dude is basically just biting 2Pac’s style” L used it as inspiration and a crutch for himself to move forward and create his own music “from scratch.” All and all it gave L the confidence to know he could structure lyrics in the same caliber as a Multi-Platinum Rap Artist. "That’s a great feeling." L says. "To have yourself convinced of your own ability to make it." The first song L Da Vice officially wrote/promoted/recorded was named "Pistol Pistol (Remix)" by DJ Danny Ventura. It was a beat created by Danny Ventura and in 2006-2007 L Da Vice made his first collaboration. This song was completely made from scratch though is inspired by the D12 hit "Pistol Pistol" L Da Vice lives in the N. Virginia Metro area nowadays. He continues to write music to this day in January 2013. And currently Promotes music for Former Bad Boy artist "Black Rob" as a free-lance venture. FAQ: Why is your website called JurzeeDee? Are You L Da Vice? A: He is both. JurzeeDee is his initials “J.D.” mixed with his roots in New Jersey. L Da Vice is his new name. “Lonny Da Second”. Vice is not talking about drug sales or any shady stuff like that. Think of it as like The “Vice-President”. His father (Lonny SR.) is the “President”. Read more on Last.fm.
