The idea of creating the band appeared some time before Marcin Pelic (Pelcik) came to visit Luke in Rzeszów in July 2004. The name of the band was inspired by the song "Planet Kyrah" by Antichrisis (www.antichrisis.de) - Quoting Sid: Kyrah is a fictional planet of unconditional love that can only be stepped on by lovers....it's a symbol for true love's purity, chastity and innocence. Regrettably, Pelcik left for Poznań, and there were two members (Luke and Tatiana) so they needed the band - a bass guitarist and keyboard player. The quest was successful. Thank the stars, Luke found Jarek Landman (Morph) - an experienced bass guitarist, and Maciek Zeman (Occid) - very creative and imaginative keyboard player. As a result Kyrah commenced to rehearse a lot and create new songs. Among others, Kyrah recorded Victoria, Mermaid, Lunatique. In September 2005, Luke found a great female vocalist - Ania Kotula (Anaia). Except for that, Grzesiek Strzępek (Dyszel), wonderful percussionist, agreed to play with Kyrah. Definitely, Kyrah began a new stage in its life. In October 2005, Kyrah recorded Anioł (a single) - radio promo version, which appeared on the radio. At the beginning of 2006 we recorded our first demo. Unfortunately, in May 2006 Kyrah had no choice but to dismiss Morph. Kyrah quickly found a new bassist - Irek Dyło. 2) Kyrah is the 24-year-old mover and shaker, singer and songwriter who mines her globe-trotting childhood and her outrageous adulthood to pen punchy pop. Mulching the best of Britney’s bravado with the icy electronica of Goldfrapp and the sassyness of Katy Perry, she has a knack for writing adhesively catchy hooks and sing-along-able lyrics.
