Krista Adams Santilli

Hailed by the Baltimore Sun as “vocally spectacular”, lyric soprano Krista Adams Santilli is an active performer in operas, operettas, musicals, concerts and oratorios. Krista has performed nationally and internationally with such organizations as Cheju-do Opera, South Korea; Diamante Films International and DAMS, Bologna, Italy; Internationales Theater Frankfurt, Germany; the Opera Theatre and Music Festival of Lucca, Italy; The Annapolis Chorale; The Delaware County Symphony Orchestra; The Young Victorian Theater; Garden State Opera; The Medicine Show Theatre, NYC; Pacific Opera; Crystal Opera; Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra and Opera Birmingham. She has performed principal roles in Rigoletto, Der Rosenkavalier, L’Elisir d’Amore; The Pirates of Penzance, The Medium, La Cambiale di Matrimonio; Die Zauberflöte, Agrippina, Suor Angelica, A Little Night Music, Oklahoma!; Sweeney Todd; All’s Well that Ends Well and A Woman of No Importance. Likewise, she has been the soprano soloist for Bach’s St. John Passion, Mozart’s Grand Mass in c-minor, Vivaldi’s Gloria and both Haydn’s and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater. In 2004, Krista made her Carnegie Hall debut on a gala concert with Pacific Opera of New York. She was awarded both first prize and the Galli-Campi Award for the most promising coloratura in the Connecticut Opera Theatre’s 2005 Amici Vocal Competition. Read more on Last.fm.
