Kiorda Däkin

Kiorda might sound very Scandinavian to you - his name as well as his productions. It's no coincidence as Kiorda's musical paragons have been the likes of Jesper Dahlbäck, Adam Beyer or Cari Lekbusch. But in fact, Kiorda is living in Leipzig (Lipsia/Germany). Caught by the mid-nineties rave spirit, Kiorda started visiting clubs and parties. Soon, he changed sides and found himself deejaying at several of these venues. Stylistically he kept to his ever-favoured wide open spectrum ranging from Deephouse to Scandinavian techno. The year 2000 marked a turning point for him as he started to develop his production skills - soon the creation of his own music became more important to him than playing other people's records. Today we see him putting together productions for various labels, among them his own platform "Interstellar Paradise" - a label that does not sell vinyl records but instead is limited to digital formats only.
