Keston and Westdal

Keston and Westdal is the production and performance team of John Keston (born in Eastbourne, UK) and Nils Westdal (born in San Francisco, CA). The Minneapolis based livetronica duo have been producing and performing since the year 2000. They have released three full-length albums, and several solo works on the label Unearthed Music (www.unearthedmusic.com). Their most recent work, One Day to Save All Life (Unearthed Music, 2008), was described by ScissorKick.com as "Tortoise covering Boards of Canada’s Roygbiv with Quincy Jones producing". With help from drummer Joshua Herbst, they roused six thousand music lovers at the Montreal Jazz Festival. They have also worked with Minnesota drumming stars, Martin Dosh, JT Bates, Tim Glenn, and Erik Bolen. Their most current staple on the drums is Graham O'Brien whose formidable percussion skills complete the trio during their live performances. Read more on Last.fm.
