Keisha Buchanan is a co-founding member of English girl group Sugababes and was the only member of the original line-up to remain with the group until 2009, when she was forced out of the group. She has remained with the same record label as the Sugababes and will release new material as a solo artist. Keisha was born in London, England from a Jamaican family, and started singing from an early age. She became friends with Mutya Buena in Kingsbury while at primary school. At the age of thirteen the pair met Siobhan Donaghy at a party, and formed a band together. In 1998, they were offered a record deal. Read more on Last.fm.
