Karen Surenovich Khachaturian (born September 19, 1920, Moscow) is an Armenian composer and a nephew of Aram Khachaturian. He adopts a primarily tonal approach to composition. His works have been recorded by some of the greatest artists of the 20th century, including David Oistrakh, Jascha Heifetz, Mstislav Rostropovitch, and Vladimir Yampolski. Read more on Last.fm.
