There are at least 4 artists with this band name: 1. Kangaroo is an Eurodance project from Italy. It was produced and arranged by Matahari, Rockwell and Selenia. It featured the voice of Annerley Gordon to release the single "Medley - Somebody's Watching Me". Other works were "Feel So Right" and "Promises". One of the many bands that briefly coalesced in New York's Greenwich Village in the late 1960s, Kangaroo consisted of Boston natives Barbara Keith and drummer/vocalist Norman Dow Smart II, as well, as multi-instrumentalist John Hall and ace guitarist Teddy Spelios. The band splintered in 1969, upon which Smart co-founded Mountain with Leslie West, then joined Great Speckeled Bird. Spelios joined another one-off band, Holy Moses. He is based in Asheville NC and the album was featured in the radio in London, Belgium, Spain, Miami and all over South America. 4. Kangaroo is an alternative/indie/pop band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. 5. KANGAROO (カンガルー) is a jazz-fusion group from Japan, often compared and coined as 'Japan's' Shakatak. Formed in 1983 with their debut "Steppin'", the four-piece group was signed to Victor Entertainment's Invitation label, which handled many like jazz-fusion/pop groups.
