Just Luis was born in Wollongong, Australia in the 60s, but he came to Spain in the middle 80s as he was a child. He started his career in 1992 recording some songs with the producer Andy Whitmore (responsible of some Pet Shop Boys, Eternal or Boy George hits) in the UK. Back in Spain he records the song American Pie in 1995 (a cover of Don McClean's original) with the producer Pedro Vidal and DJ Rives. American Pie was released in many European countries, and it was #1 in Spain and Brazil. It was included in a lot of Spanish compilations like Bombazo Mix, Sonic Mix, Bad Boys or Techno Valencia. A UK remixes CD was also released. In 1996 he recorded his second single I'm In A Heartache. Then, The Number One arrived, and later Freebaby, with another production team and record label. Finally in 1999, Líderes publishes his LP, Universal Love, which also includes the new single, Save My Life : The producers of the CD were Pedro Del Moral, David Ferrero and Pedro Vidal between others. In 2001 he took part to a dance show called "Ericsson Generación WAP Festival" with some other artists like XTM presents Annia, Moncloa, Lexter, Brian Cross or Club De Soul. He presented in the show his new song America. The last songs we have heard of Luis were You (2002) and Free Your Mind (2003). He is working in new tracks, and next releases will probably have re-versions of his old classics. Read more on Last.fm.
