Jorge Continentino is a saxophone and flute player, composer and arranger from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Coming from a musical family, he started working as a musician at the age of 15, and since then he has recorded and performed with some of the most important artists in Brazil, such as Milton Nascimento (album Pieta), Marisa Monte (tour Barulhinho Bom), Sandra de Sa, Claudio Zoli, Durval Ferreira (album Batida Diferente), Ramiro Musotto(album Sudaka and Sudaka ao Vivo), Telo Borges, Skank (albuns Siderado and MTV ao Vivo) and Bebel Gilberto, and many others. Jorge and his brothers, Kiko and Alberto Continentino, put together the group ContinenTrio in 2000 and recorded the album entitled ContinenTrio (2003). Jorge recorded his solo album entitled Portrait (2004). In August of 2004 he moved to NYC and met Mauro Refosco at Nublu. Since then hes been part of the Read more on Last.fm.
