Born in Manhattan, raised in the farmlands of upstate New York, Jeevan Singh grew up listening to Cat Stevens, old Bollywood soundtracks, and her mother's songs on the guitar. She lived in Portland, Oregon and played with two bands there - Love Menu and Gatos - as well as solo. In August 2008, she finished recording her first ep - Golden Lights.
